Summary:
Young Aaron is unjustly sent to a reformatory, where he meets Fire Wolf--older, a born rebel, and a talented singer. After Wolf dies in a motorcycle crash, Aaron becomes a rock musician, thus beginning a frenzied odyssey through late 1960s America. Tormented by visions of Wolf, Aaron explores drugs, mysticism, and love.

This series won the 1969 Shogakukan Manga Award and features the first sex scene in shoujo manga.

Too bad it got cancelled.
I was really looking forward to know more about the characters.

I didn't particularly like Spica's death though, death by sexual exhaustion???
Especially after seeing that Khamsin isn't that bad, he was shown has someone that wouldn't kill when given the chance not to, so her death is a bit awkward.

First off this series did get canceled. Now considering what did get done I feel like this manga had a great story and dialogue. If you dont mind the cut off its a great short read.

This is a manga with a very interesting plot , and although it might not look attractive by first sight , it is very capturing. The dialogues are very smart ,and cannon , giving the otherwise-tragic content of this series a gleam of humor . Maybe a too-dark sort of humor , but still very pleasant. What impressed me the most , is the style of the animation, even if the main character is kept intact from the previous series of the 80' , the rest of the set, the characters , and all the little details seem very well done.
